The 3rd CabTök took place at our plant in Kecskemét on Halloween

At our plant in Kecskemét, the CabTök took place on Halloween.
“Tök” means pumpkin in Hungarian and CabTök stands for a pumpkin carving competition, which took place for the third time this year.
Our employees were able to carve and decorate pumpkins together with their families and hand them in for the award at the plant. A set-up Halloween decoration provided the right setting for the presentation of the “works of art”.
An independent jury awarded the most beautiful pumpkin, which was rewarded with a small non-cash prize.
On the adjacent pictures you can see the submitted pumpkin artworks as well as the winning pumpkin. We thank all participants for their participation and congratulate the winner.
We are very pleased about the commitment of our employees and are very happy about the lively participation.
The izb 2022 opens its doors
October 2022
After a long forced break, the izb in Wolfsburg opens on October 11th. their gates again. We look forward to good conversations with loyal customers. And we are already looking forward to the new contacts that we are expecting with our team. Our booth is set up and everything is prepared for the start.

After a Corona break of several years, the izb will take place again in Wolfsburg from October 11th to 13th, 2022.

In a statement issued by the VDMA on 24.02.2022, the VDMA supports the decision to sanction the aggression against Ukraine emanating from Russia with harsh measures.
CabTec fully supports the VDMA’s statement.

Call for vaccination at CabTec sites
May 2021
Unfortunately, the current CORONA situation is developing negatively. Exploding case numbers and hospitals reaching their capacity limits are unfortunately a reality.
Experts agree that the population’s lack of willingness to be vaccinated is a major contributor to this development.
“Booster vaccinations” help to mitigate the course of disease for each individual and thus relieve the burden on hospitals.
We are responding to the current tense situation and are calling on all employees to be vaccinated or “boostered” via a poster campaign.
Under the motto:
Join in, get vaccinated!
For you. For us. For everyone.
we are putting up themed posters at all our sites (see adjacent poster from Hungary) and calling on all colleagues to get vaccinated.
Typhoon IN-FA – China – Shanghai – Suzhou Region

On 25.07.21 the regional goverment in China in Shanghai and also in Suzhou area announced,
due to that Tyhpoon In-Fa hits the region by 25.07.21 with aprox 140km/h winds and heavy rain, to close all traffic and also all industry locations, and advised all citizens to stay at home.
CabTec local team has taken this serious and also closed since 25.07 until 27.07 in the morning his plant in Suzhou and advised all his employees to follow government advises.
We all hope that the situation will not be worse and that the plant can come back to production tomorrow without any impact.

CabTec’s Location Groß-Gerau is upgrading its technology

CabTec implements a micrograph laboratory and a universal testing machine at the Groß Gerau location on the same standard as in the production plants.
We are thus expanding the scope of customer-oriented support for our customers.
Passed the professional association test

At our Groß-Gerau location, we have been subjected to a routine test by the employers’ liability insurance association and have passed it through without any complaints or recommendations.

Dramatic increase in new corona infections and deaths in Hungary: As Hungary announced on Tuesday, enormous increases have been registered in the past 24 hours:
6494 new infections were counted. 158 people also died related to the virus during this period — a record for 2021.

CabTec supplies components for ventilators

In the CORONA pandemic, ventilators have become the most important medical device to save human lives. One of our Swiss / American customers is the market leader in the mobile ventilator segment. The increased demand for these devices is currently extremely high – fast solutions are required in order to deliver to hospitals on time.
We were asked by the company mentioned as a competent supplier of complex cabling systems and were entrusted with the delivery of cable sets for 50 times the amount of normal ventilation equipment requirements.
Our entire team, together with our supplier network, faced this battle against the clock. Components were developed, processes checked and logistics chains established. Everything under the premise of delivering high quality products within the tightest timeframe. In spite of all the haste, all finished parts are checked, because they have to function in the event of an emergency and must be stable over a longer period of time.
We managed to reduce the regular production and delivery time from 16 weeks to 2 weeks.
We and everyone involved are happy and proud to be able to make our contribution to combating the pandemic.
CabTec Kecskemét is working hard on components for ventilators for Italy

CabTec Kecskemét supports ventilator manufacturers with the delivery of several thousand ventilators for Italy. There they are urgently needed to save human lives. Human lives are also a top priority for CabTec. These orders are being preferred over all other orders to help save lives in the Corona COVID 19 pandemic in Italy. We kindly ask you to accept any postponements for reasons of ethics.

Qualified evaluations and solutions in the field of EMC problems with cable sets
December 2019
From 01.01.2020 CabTec also offers consideration and solutions in the area of EMC problems with cable sets.
For this purpose, we sent our specialist staff from the Groß Gerau location to appropriate training courses at the German Society for EMC Technology eV in Munich , where the EMC level 1 and level 2 was successfully achieved passed a written test so that CabTec can now offer qualified reviews and solutions to customers. The first projects have already been successfully implemented.
